Are You a New to our blog?

Your life is more than going to work and paying bills; you should do what makes you happy. The best advice in life is to follow your passion, do what makes your soul come alive. It is simple, take what you believe in and turn that into your career. Once you define your core values, everything becomes clear as day. You start living with more passion; your life has a purpose again.

Who are you on the inside? Answer that simple question and it will make all the difference in your life. Think of just about any company you know or work for, there is always a business value. Using a strategy help to state clearly what the company us about and what they stand for. Creating your personal core values is simply once you explicitly create and start maintaining them.

Clearly articulate your core values in writing. Having values, you believe in mean that you live by those values. Everyday decisions, actions, and thoughts should reflect those values. One's personal core values are a guideline which they live by to make decisions and choices. Most people wonder how their life turn out if control. It is because you are most likely just living with no guidance and going with what others say. Having your personal code of honor to follow and upholding that code help you live a more fulfilled, rewarding lifestyle.

Your time and money are your most valuable personal resources. Build core values that help you maximize and utilize both efficiently. Once you start building personal relationships, thinking of business partners, or even where you live your core values become essential. No two people have the exact Core values to match one another, but we use them to make most decisions in our lives. Simply put, I created my core values to take control of my life, to think for myself, and build a future I can be proud of.

These are my top three core values that have made a dramatic impact on my life:

Personal Health and Fitness

Most people never think twice about investing in their health. The hard truth is that your body will need even more of that TLC as you age. One of my top values in life is to take care of my body, mentally and physically. I remember reading one of the best quotes I have ever come across

“ Take care of your body, It's the only place you have to live by Jim Rhon."

Over the years when I was younger physical fitness was never important to me, I look good so I ignorantly thought I must be healthy. That was far from the truth, looking back I remember always being tired, having trouble sleeping, and just not feeling good on most days. Fast forward years later I make it a point to be as healthy as I can every day. I have no time to waste on energy lost or feeling sick from eating something unhealthy. Health is important to me because I understand without your health nothing gets done. You can't run your business; you can enjoy family and friends, or travel and experience the wonders in this world. I make it a point to exercise three days a week doing cardio and strength training, why? To keep my body healthy and get my feel good vibe going. Taking care of a business takes time, energy to performing at optimum level. Some of the most successful people today, they all talk about how they make time to take care of their health mentally and physically. Maintaining your health allow you to age gracefully. You will be able to do things in your 80s that you did in your 30s. I value my health because I want to not only create a luxury lifestyle, but I want to live a long healthy life to enjoy that lifestyle.

Financial freedom

Anyone who says money does not make a difference in your life either never had to go without money or they never had enough money in their life to make a dramatic lifestyle change. I value Financial freedom because I want to achieve a lifestyle that I can be proud of. I am creating a business to help others and myself reach our personal goals without waiting for someone else to hand us an opportunity. The world revolves around money, no two way about it, the best thing you can do is to learn to play the game of money. Learn to not only get in the game and WIN!.

I was never a person that worried about money because I always had just enough to take care of my bills. Then one day I had no job, no savings, and a mountain of debts that was staring back at me with no way to pay it. That is when I learn the real meaning of money in this world; it means freedom! Financial freedom is important to me not just because of the money because it is the only true freedom in this world to live a full life. Living a poor lifestyle has thought me some valuable lessons that I would not trade for the world. It was pretty much me deeply asleep, and someone was throwing a bucket of cold water on my face to wake me up. It was worth the shock because that wake-up call was the beginning of my journey to financial freedom.

Financial freedom is more than just having money; that was more than clear to me. My core value in achieving real financial freedom is more into having the freedom to do the things I genuinely enjoy in life. To others, it may seem all about the money, but to me having financial freedom is gaining the success to allow me time and privilege to make the absolute best out of life.

Giving back to the world

I moved to the United States when I was very young from the West Indies. We did not live in the streets, but we did not have much. Our family lived in one room with family for months until we could move out in our place. I always remember people helping my family when they could, and I can personally tell you that helping others is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

I am a firm believer in giving back to the world. If you are grateful for everything you have, you may want to consider giving back a little to the world. Having a core value that enables you to think of others help you grow in so many ways. By global standards, if you own a car, you can eat a warm meal a day, have the security of a home, and some other simple creature comfort you are rich. Giving back not only benefit others but it helps you even if you don't realize it. You learn to appreciate simple things like your health when you see a sick person; you can find pure joy by smiling with a child that you volunteer with for the day. Volunteering helps me learn character traits about myself I never though I possess. You can even expand your social circle with the people you meet at these events. Be the kind of person you want to be around, if you want to attract a positive lifestyle start living it.

“We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.” Winston Churchill

How can you start to give back?

Everyone has something they can share with the world, a set of skills, time, and if you are able your money that will contribute to others.

Your core values define who you become in this world and how you continue to live that life. Creating core values allows you to have your belief and not let others lead you with their values. I have my three core values to remember to take care of myself, have the freedom I want, and to remember to be grateful for the life I have. For anyone who as ever made a life altering decision that causes them substantial financial loss, all I can say is stay optimistic and never forget why and how you got in debt. For me, becoming practically financially bankrupt and desperation pushed me to change the way I think so I could take back control of my life. All of the sudden it was simple, I had to change who I was internal to be a success. At the end of the day changing who you are is a personal choice, it is up to you whether you want to change or not.

Your number one obstacle in life is your mindset; it is truly a powerful tool that can work for you or against you. In everyday situations we make decisions on how we feel, that is why you need to separate facts from opinions. Think carefully before you decide if it's fact or opinion, opinions are a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Data can verify facts and deliver success when implemented.

How do you open up your mind to a prosperous future?

Turn negative thoughts into positive thinking to look at life with new possibilities. The moment I decided to stop feeling sorry for my situation and do something about it everything changed. Be honest with yourself, take the time to assess how you think in any giving situation.

Assume responsibility for your actions and learn to understand ways to improving yourself.

For eight months all I could think about was my problems, I had bills, debts, no directions in life, and no means to solve those problems. Moving towards my goals went against most of my beliefs but in the best way, I was looking at my life as a whole for the first time. Rebuilding a successful life requires you to be self-aware in every situation that occurs, primarily your problem. The change comes when you acknowledge that you have been stuck in the same routine, and it is taking you nowhere fast. Sometimes it is like pulling teeth to change who you are, but success lies in the person you become. Secure your future by being an active part of your life every day. Stop waiting for your boss to pay you, go and create another income stream for yourself. How you plan for the future impact the lifestyle you're living in the present.

Life happens to everyone, all you can do is take active measures to build a safety net. There is no time like the present to start securing your future. The way to plan ahead is to make sure you plan for all possible situations, not waiting for a problem to occur.

If you lost your job today how long do you have before you go bankrupt?

As we grow up, people and events around you have an influence on the person we become when we grow into adulthood. One thing we can be sure of is not having complete control over events that takes place in our lives. What we can control is how we deal with those situations to shape who we become. We all have the potential to change into a better version of ourselves and grow; the choice is whether we want to change.

With every new day, we are presented with the opportunity of growth, take it and start making a difference in your life. Once we feel that our life as gone down the wrong road we want to change and fix our life. The problem is not knowing how to make that change; you just have to be willing to make that change. Events in life may have dictated the choices you've done, but now it is time to stop being a victim and take control of your destiny.

Making the decision to change had nothing to do with what was going on around me, it was always about "The Core Values" I needed to set up for myself. I learn through self-development practices a few ways to change who I am to become who I want to be.

Be Willing To Make The Change Anyone who has ever needed help got it by doing one simple thing, they asked for help and was willing to change. If you want to grow change is the only way you will make progress as a person. Many people go through an internal battle with themselves; they are against changing, but they want to. Changing as an individual may be the hardest trial you have to go trough, but the results are worth winning that internal battle with yourself. Choosing to ignore areas that need improvements in ourselves only serve to stop our growth to a better life. Your mind dictates how you live your life, open your thoughts and be willing to change, allow yourself to grow into the person you want to become.

Enough With The Excuses When I was completely bankrupt, I made all the excuses in the world why I was left with no money or assets. I work so hard to pay bills; I invested all my time and asset in others only to end up with nothing. However, when I was honest with myself, I realize that I allow my life to get out of control. No one made me do the work, I never had to hand over my money and assets, I just made bad decisions, and now I was paying for it. The day my life started improving was when I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself, stop making excuses and change the things I did not agree with. Take responsibility for your mistakes; it is the most important part of your personal growth. Acknowledge that you made a mistake than create a plan to correct that mistake with motivated actions.

Stop Being Angry At it All Anger is one of your most powerful emotions; it can lead you to places you never wanted to be or do things that are completely out of character. It alters your decision-making skills; it can damage valuable relationships with families and friends, even cause significant healthy issues.

I could remember being angry at the little things that someone said or did. Then I learn to stop letting people control my anger when someone has the power to evoke that high of emotion from you; they do control you. Controlling your anger may not be easy, but it can be done with just a few, yet simple tricks. The first thing I always do is realize that after a problem as occur all I could do was look for a solution. So My advice is to stop, assess the situation, determine a solution, and start implementing actions to solve your problem instead of wasting time and energy on anger.

Be A Role Model (Even if it's just to Yourself) Your character speaks volumes about you when others look up to you. Having others look up to you for guidance works as a great motivator to get your personal life together. You just need that little inspiration sometimes to help you stay on track and continue to have an upstanding attitude on life. Becoming an entrepreneur was not just about me, it was about the business I believed in and wanted to see come alive. People were looking for information from me and believe in what I was telling them, so I needed to be caution about my business and behavior. I never wanted to disappoint people by destroying my character or not following through with my promises.

It does not have to be you coaching a room full of people; I started with myself. I always have though if you can't keep your promise to yourself then there is no point in making a promise to anyone elese. Make the decision to start being that respected person that others look up to.

Listening is critical to great results Life can run away from you when you are busy with family, friends, and building a business. In today's society just about everyone is living a fast paste lifestyle, so we never have time just to stop and listen. Most people only hear about three of every ten words you say, chances are they are not listening to most of what you are saying. One important part of changing is learning to listen actively to others. Listen to others is not just hearing what they have to say, it's giving them a voice through you. Meeting new people will have an impact on your life, how big of an impact is center on how much you got out of that meeting. Listen to others can help you develop connections that will last a lifetime. Being a good listener changes not only who you are but who you will become.

Think of more than yourself We can quickly become selfish in today's world and not even realize it was happening. Once you want to make that change keeping an open mind helps you to not pre-judge others and intern grow into a better person. You are taking the first step to understanding others, why not go all the way and commit to putting them first when communicating.

Changing and learning more about the world allows you to feel more empathy fo rothers. You will find rewards in not just committing to yourself but thinking on how to enhance someone else's life.

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty is practically non-existent in our modern society, with world corruption, hunger, and some other factors it is getting harder and harder to stay honest. If you ever find yourself in the worst possible situation honesty could be your best bet. Make a promise today to yourself to be frank and open about who you are and what you stand for.

Challenging yourself to keep your integrity by being honest is a great change for your character. When you have known that you are doing the right thing and following all the rules life will become more simple. Each day you can focus on becoming a better you, not worrying about keeping stories together and high-stress level.

Real changes happen on the inside, not outside, so it is important we learn to be the change we want. Most people think they can never change who they are. The real change can only start when you decide to change yourself. How will you change?
